Crowe Bridge

Crowe Bridge was originally utilized as a dining facility for the tobacco plant.

The west end was previously supported by Bay 3 of Washington Building. The west end was resupported with four new columns, so that Bay 3 could be demolished in order to provide space for South Parking Deck.

In order to demolish Bay 3, columns had to be installed to support Crowe Bridge, and another set of columns were installed off the top of Crowe Bridge to support the roof. The columns had to be installed far enough from the building to allow for demolition.

The roof of Crowe Bridge is now supported by hangers connected to the roof of Crowe Bridge. It had originally been supported by
Bay 3.
