Reed Building

Built in 1902, the wood-structured brick Reed Building contains impressive architectural detailing. Its exposed wood structure and interior brick walls lend themselves to the historical loft interiors
and loft ceilings.

Initial renovation work included inspecting all the wood beams, columns, and flooring to determine which areas were structurally suitable and which areas needed replacement due to water damage, rot, etc. Design work included modifying existing floor structures to allow for the installation of two elevators and one stair tower.

A three-story structure was created within the building to act as multiple conference/presentation rooms. The structure required major openings to be created on the second and third floors, which created a large atrium.
